Richard is Principal Architect and Partner at Manasc Isaac.
Following his graduation from the Oxford school of architecture and several years working in on institutional projects in Hamburg, West Germany, Richard crossed the pond to volunteer in the Alberta First Nation community of Wabasca in 1982.
Having founded Manasc Isaac alongside Vivian Manasc in 1997, Richard maintains an overview of all of the firm’s projects and serves as Design Architect for specific projects.
Richard’s calling card is creative and custom design; he believes that that there are no template solutions to design problems. Budgets and schedule restraints are challenges, not negatives. Richard has a passion for environmentally responsible and culturally sensitive design, many of which look to nature for solutions.
